Information Technology (IT) is an integral part of today’s increasingly complex business environment. Bachelors in Computer Application (BCA) is a three year program providing a sound IT systems management foundation for those seeking careers as software development managers. The course helps develop the technical knowledge, practical tools, and techniques to effectively work with organizations involved in geographically distributed IT and software development activities. The course equips graduates with all of these skills, and the knowledge and attitudes necessary to work as effective and responsible information technology practitioners in the fast changing modern organisational environment.
Graduates of the BCA are well-placed to enter this world, having gained a vocational degree with real-world focus and an understanding of the fundamentals of business principles and systems, thinking and practices that underpin our economic, political and social systems. BCA Graduates may find employment as computing professionals in both the commercial and technical sectors of the computing industry.
Internship:
Students may opt for a summer internship giving them the opportunity to complete a two-month internship at one of Pune’s many IT, Automotive, Investment, Banking, PCMC, etc. services corporations.
Employment Opportunities: Many graduates begin their career as a junior business analysts and after some experience are promoted as Analysts .Possible employment opportunities for graduates of the BCA could include junior executives in Marketing, Finance, Strategic Operations and Human Resource in business and corporate houses, multinational companies, airlines, factories, industries, government departments.
